Esther Culp, one of HPCT's greatest and longest friends, died last night after suffering a massive stroke a week ago. At 88 and 1/2 yrs young, she was a vital and strong woman and was an audience member at EVERY HPCT performance. I loved seeing her in the lobby after the performance where she would always give me a big hug and say "This was the best one yet."
Our thoughts and prayers are with her children, Frosty & Catharine, Rob & Susan & Judy, her grandchildren and her many friends. She was a grand lady and will be missed by all of High Point.
