From Triad Health Project...
Due to the current tough economy having an impact on our client family assistance requests, we are currently experiencing a heightened need for any non-perishable food item donations for both our Greensboro and High Point client food pantries. Reclamation programs such as Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina and Greensboro Urban Ministries are strapped for what THP is able to receive from them and give to our clients (typically 2 tons each month). Healthy items that can be easily prepared can be dropped off at either THP location - 801 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, or 620 English Street, High Point - Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. For more information on donating furniture items or food, or how you might be able to organize a food drive on THP's behalf, contact Shane Burton at 336-275-1654, ext. 26, or sburton@triadhealthproject.com.

Can we help?
I will transport any items brought to the HPCT office to Triad Health Project's High Point office. Feel free to bring non-perishable food items to Sound of Music rehearsals or during the day, drop them off at the HPCT office (feel free to leave them outside the door if I am not in the office) before October 29th.
