Hi All,
Bobby & I will make the definitive call about Sunday's rehearsal tomorrow morning – but based on the forecast, we are currently planning to change the spacing rehearsal to 1:00 pm at the theatre. Please email me asap at jblevins@hpcommunitytheatre.org if you KNOW that you will be unable to make that rehearsal. If you can’t get there at 1:00, please come as soon as you can.
We will space the musical numbers and then the smaller scenes. Anyone from out of town who would like to stay in High Point tomorrow, just let me know and I will check with our board members for available space.
Please check the blog http://hpcommunitytheatre.blogspot.com/ in the morning for the final decision. But wanted to keep you aware of our current thoughts.

PG-13ish posts - Viewer Discretion
Thanks For A Great Load-In

After today, The Producers cast/crew can say they...
Spent a day in and out of pouring rain
Hung a 30ish feet Nazi flag
Ate some great chili
Listened to Michael Martinez sing all day
Stenciled/cut out/painted German paratroopers
Played with pigeons
Set off NCSF's burglar alarm "Intruder, Intruder"
Heard a fabulous orchestra rehearse
Watched Katie Jo fall off of a ladder and stick the landing
Moved three pianos (two real, one fake)
Heard everybody nagging at Mary Margaret for wearing shorts
Put up walls
Moved costumes
Unpacked props
And Had Great Attitudes While Doing It All!
Thanks for all of your help.
Check this spot tomorrow for rehearsal schedule.

Natural Science Center of Greensboro

The Natural Science Center of Greensboro is looking for an actor/actress to take on the one man/woman shows "Indiana Bones and the Kingdom of the Camarasaur" and "Meal or No Meal." A paid position, the actor/actress would rotate with two other actors for weekend performances (10am-4pm on Sat.; 1pm-4pm on Sun.) only until summer when the Saturday schedule extends to Monday through Friday. You are actor, director, tech crew, and house manager in one. You are given a 30-35 minute script, a DVD that you perform with and about a week to a week and a half to rehearse (also paid if done at NSC).
Here's show info:
"Indiana Bones & the Kingdom of the Camarasaur" -- 11:00 AM (Saturdays) and 2:00 PM (Saturdays and Sundays)
Indiana Bones starts the fifth installment of the popular NSC Series excited about activating a good, baby robot dinosaur, Cameron. However, soon he realizes that his evil archnemesis, Dr. Dean O. Saur, has once again invaded the Natural Science Center with his hoard of evil robot dinosaurs, and is eyeing the NSC'S Animal Discovery Zoo for a new "Robot Jurassic Park." When Cameron is kidnapped by Dean O. Saur, Indy must use the kids' help to solve four riddles in order to save the NSC, Cameron, and Indy's dad from total destruction.
"Meal or No Meal" -- 12:30 PM (Saturdays) and 3:30 PM (Saturdays and Sundays)
Join the Natural Science Center in a game of animal eating knowledge in "Meal or No Meal!" Kids choose the animal, Howie provides the comedy, a Chimpanzee-banker raises the stakes---and it's all for a chance to meet a real live animal from the NSC Zoo: Animal Discovery! (This show is slated to change to a "science-magic" show in the summer.)
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JOINING THE NSC PUBLIC PERFORMERS: Call Ron Settle, Director of Public Programs of the NSC at 336.288.3769 ext. 329.

Commercial
Are you a local actor who has a connection to High Point Bank, as an account holder, insurance through Argus or Robins & Weill (subsidiary companies of High Point Bank), Trust Services, retail or commercial banking.
High Point Bank is shooting a commercial with a voice over and is looking for 6 - 8 adult actors for the spot. However, they want to work with actual customers of the bank. There will be some small compensation for the spot.
If you are interested and have an ongoing relationship with High Point Bank, please email me at jblevins@hpcommunitytheatre.org with your contact information so I can pass it along to the bank.

We're Free!!!!!
Thanks to many of you, my time in jail was relatively short. And I had Michael Dougherty as my cell mate so we actually had a pretty good time. With your help, I was able to raise $1051.00 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Thanks to those of you who helped raise our bail and those who offered to bake a cake with a nail file. I'm glad that we didn't have to bust out and lead lives on the lam.
