The creators of the highly acclaimed play THE LARAMIE PROJECT, which since 2000 has been one of the most performed plays in America, will premiere a compelling and groundbreaking epilogue to the original piece. Entitled THE LARAMIE PROJECT: 10 YEARS LATER, the play will be performed in New York at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, and over 100 other theaters in all fifty states, Canada, Great Britain, Spain, Hong Kong and Australia on October 12, 2009. The writers of this play are Tectonic Theater Project members Moisés Kaufman, Leigh Fondakowski, Greg Pierotti, Andy Paris, and Stephen Belber.

The North Carolina Shakespeare Festival needs some volunteers for the dedication of their Shakespeare statue on Monday, September 28 at Spirit Center - corner of West Green & Ward Avenue in High Point.

Feed your body, feed your soul and feed the arts all in one night. Join the High Point Area Arts Council’s Friends of the Arts on Thursday, July 16, at the new Dan Thai Jazz Bistro at 1116 Eastchester Drive in the Center Stage Shopping Center in High Point. Ten percent of that night’s gross will be contributed to the United Arts Fund Drive!
Go see HPCT family member Ally Austin become the evil and dastardly Haman in Crosslove Theatre's production "For Richer or Purim!" The classic story of Esther meets the slapstick comedy of Saturday Night LIVE! in this unforgettable adaptation by Bob Snook. Esther has been chosen among all the "ladies" in the king's court to become his queen. However, on the night she takes her crown, Esther uncovers a plot to destroy the entire Hebrew race. With the help of the audience and a fun loving gatekeeper, Esther shows that true bravery and faith in yourself and in God can overcome the largest of obstacles.
