HPCT Needs Your Help! Psssst Pass It On!

We can do incredible things together!
Hi Friends,
On Monday, April 7th at 5:30 pm the High Point Area Arts Council will be presenting it’s annual budget request to High Point’s City Council. Part of this request will be for monies to subsidize rent so that we may stay in the Enterprise Center while the Arts Council launches a capital campaign to purchase the building. It is imperative that the City agree to assist us by subsidizing the rent in addition to the funds that they traditionally give to the arts council. Our presence at this meeting will both show our appreciation for the money this year and our hope for the continued support. The meeting is held in the City Council meeting room at City Hall on Hamilton Street – across the street from the Theatre’s loading dock door.
Here’s where you come in…..
Please make EVERY attempt to attend this meeting. Our presence will be noted and who knows, may be a deciding factor in convincing the City Council to fund the project. You will not need to speak – JUST BE THERE.
Monday is during the Furniture Market so parking will be an issue. My recommendation is to try to arrive a couple of minutes after 5:00 and park in one of the lots beside City Hall and carpool if at all possible.
Following the meeting, those who attend will be invited back to the HPCT space for pizza.
Please RSVP so that I know how many are coming (family & friends are welcome). My goal is to have at least 50 representatives from HPCT. Please help us accomplish this goal.
By the way, students should check with teachers to see if they can get extra credit for attending the City Council meeting.
Thanks so much,
Jennifer

Wednesday's Rehearsal
The rehearsal that was listed as TBA for tomorrow (Wednesday, April 2) is a full company call at 7:00 pm for a work/sing-thru of all music.
See you all there!
See you all there!
Happy Birthday to our very own April Fool!
Happy Birthday to my friend who...always manages to find those roles that take 10 minutes of rehearsal but get the biggest laughs in the show.
loves me - and my dogs.
learns everybody's name - by the end of the 1st rehearsal.remembers all of my "remember when..." stories.
when you call and say "can you...?", you know the answer is gonna be "sure".
is (virtually) unbeatable at trivia.
has been by my side for most of the great and all of the worst days of my life.
I love and appreciate you.
Happy Birthday, Lee-Lee,
Jennifer
